In our team you will be working on the dark side of Amadeus. What we call the middle-ware is the software framework we provide to allow the thousands of Amadeus’ developers to easily develop programs that work for the business, while we are taking care of all lower – stack communication layers with all the thrilling challenges that it involves.

Our product, the Service Integrator, is taking care of handling hundreds of thousands of connections of various protocols towards remote systems and web browsers all around the globe. It routes up to 1.000.000 transactions per second to the right device in Amadeus.

Main Responsibilities:

• The Services Integrator is configured by our customers to efficiently route all these services. Tons of options are available.

• Today, we need to check the consistency of configuration submitted by our clients. And this needs to be automated. We also need to include an interface to run admin commands on the live configuration. This should allow the user to automatically investigate their inconsistencies.

The ideal candidate

• You are studying towards a university degree in computer science, STEM studies or similar technical fields (minimum two semesters)

• You like working on critical components and working remote now and then

• You are curious and like to understand how our back-end functions

• You have experience or interest in network engineering and web UI development

• You feel confident in working within a Linux environment and Python, Julia or similar programming languages

• You have a strong analytical mindset, enjoy developing the best solutions for customers and you are eager to learn everyday

• You are available 20 hours per week for the working student duties
