RWE Supply & Trading GmbH, a leading European energy trading house, is offering an exciting opportunity for a Junior Credit Analyst. In this role, you will become an integral part of our team as we work towards transforming RWE into a low CO² energy producer.

Join us in covering various aspects of our trading, renewable energy, and wholesale business, as well as engaging in essential project work.

• Credit Portfolio Management: Managing a credit portfolio with a focus on energy and trading companies, as well as industrials
• Creditworthiness Analysis: Conducting creditworthiness analyses for existing and potential trading partners, preparing credit submissions for review
• Credit Risk Management: Actively participate in managing credit risks by negotiating framework agreements (e.g., EFET, ISDA, CSA, CPMA, etc.) and ensuring the provision of necessary securities
• Liquidity Considerations: Assist in proactively managing credit risks while taking into account liquidity topics
• Stakeholder Engagement: Act as an internal and external partner for our credit portfolio

Your powerful skills

• University graduate in business studies or economics, preferably with some commercial experience
• First experience in credit management, preferably in an international energy or banking environment
• Familiarity with credit risk analysis methods, balance sheet analysis, and cash flow / liquidity analysis
• Ability to make sound decisions within critical deadlines
• Strong command of spoken and written English
• A good understanding of credit and liquidity risk
• Analytical, conceptual, and organisational skills
• Ability to integrate and handle conflicts effectively
