The Impact You’ll Make in this Role
As a Product Development Specialist Structural Adhesives (m/f/*) for the Automotive and Aerospace Solutions Division, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by:
- Leading impactful new product growth programs for paste adhesives, serving exciting opportunities in the Automotive and Aerospace industry
- Implementing sustainable product formulations and robust constructions to serve our customers and support a sustainable future
- Determining customer and industry needs to support filling our growth pipelines
- Supporting Change Management Projects and Product Engineers to maintain and improve our legacy products
Your Skills and Expertise
To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M is looking for candidates who must have the following qualifications:
- Masters degree from an accredited institution
- Macromolecular Chemistry, Organic Chemistry Material Science (secondary)
- Advanced experience and skills in the relevant market, former positions or assignments
- Experience in industrial environment, ideally product development and commercialization projects
- Communication and presentation skills (German, English written and spoken)
- You are a curious problem solver and inventor
Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:
- PhD from an accredited institution
- Project management, Prioritization
- Six Sigma tools, Statistical Methods (Analysis; DoE’s etc.)
- French language is a plus
- Transparent and collaborative working style
