Your future plans

• Development of Transport and Installation concepts for RWE Renewables’ future projects
• Building project schedules, assess the budget needed and coordination of our offshore construction activities

• Preparation of project plans, evaluation of the required budget and coordination of our offshore construction activities with assumption of technical responsibility
• Preparing tender documents including specifications, evaluating offers and conducting contract negotiations with suppliers
• Developing budget proposals with national and international offshore construction companies
• Supporting the supply chain team in the preparation of contracts and ship charters with offshore construction companies
• Coordination with internal specialist disciplines of other packages and external project partners with regard to technical issues
• Application and further development of relevant standards, regulations, norms and best practice, taking into account lessons learnt
• Technical and economic evaluation of various installation methods
• Interface management with authorities and government agencies
• Stakeholder management of pipeline projects
• Monitoring compliance with internal and RWE internal safety and quality regulations

Your profile

• Degree or equivalent in Naval Architecture, Civil Engineering, Marine Logistics or related areas
• Profound experience in transporting of large structures, preferably offshore WTG Foundations (eg monopiles, jackets, transition pieces, etc) and understanding of associated interfaces to ports, vessels and schedule, at least 5+ years
• Experience and knowledge of the offshore wind industry including relevant vessel market knowledge
• Project management skills and experience in the technical management of project teams and supervision of employees
• Intercultural communication and negotiation skills
• Reliable team player, self-starting and highly motivated
• A flexible approach to work and willingness to travel in Europe and APAC
• Ability and interest to work offshore and at heights from time to time
Fluent in English, spoken and written

Desirable skills

• Specific experience with lifting engineering, vessel stability and roll on/off loading of components
• Experience in Offshore Wind Power to X Projects
• Ideally professional experience in project management in the marine or offshore segment
