Our client company performs end-to-end projects in all telecommunication areas (Fixed /Mobile / Radio Networks) as well as Civil Works in Spain, and Germany.

Responsibilities

I. Technical management, order processing, accounting

• Acquisition, implementation and control of the current planning specifications (planning manuals) of the customers (e.g. network operators)
• Confirmation in the case of different costing bases, e.g. different actual time estimates and material qualities, additional services
• Technical and commercial responsibility for the construction project
• Preparation of a construction estimate and construction schedule (definition of the need for materials, subcontracting, vehicles, equipment, tools, measuring equipment)
• Monitoring and checking the on-time and complete commissioning of the construction site in the warehouse
• Briefing of the responsible foreman, senior fitter, foreman, site supervisor and fitter with handover of a brief project description and time schedule
• Enforcement of work procedures on the construction site, regular site visits
• Commissioning, coordination, monitoring and invoicing of subcontractor services
• Weekly audit of the travel expense, hourly, piecework accounts
• Weekly preparation of the billing bases for the customer (measurements)
• Prompt preparation of supplementary offers, settlement of the same
• Project monitoring, such as reporting, control, deadline monitoring
• Notification of deviations in the construction process to the division manager (construction time shift, additional services, discontinuation of services, new customer requirements)
• Preparation and execution of the timely acceptance with the customer, including the compilation and delivery of the customer documentation to the customer
• Initiation and control of possible defect rectification as well as prompt deregistration of these at the customer
• Preparation of invoicing after acceptance
• Timely and factually correct submission of the performance report

II. Team management & Construction Site Organization

• Management and information of the subordinate personnel (objectives for the construction measure)
• Motivation of the employees
• Carrying out fire protection, occupational safety, and security instructions with the site personnel before the start of each construction project
• Notification of own training needs as well as the training needs of subordinate fitters, foremen, supervising fitters, trainees

III. Other

• Notification of requirement for investments to the division manager
• Duty to inform about upcoming test dates for test and measuring equipment, conductors
  and portable electrical installations.
• Execution of the annual inventory for current and fixed assets on the construction sites
