• You are involved in the development of new technologies & concepts in the field of carbon capture (CO2 capture, CO2 sequestration, Carbon Dioxide Capture and Storage, CCS, CCUS, Direct Air Capture DAC).
• You will be responsible for the planning and preparation of experiments.
• You will assist in carrying out CO2 capture tests both in the laboratory and on the test rig.
• You will create physical/chemical simulation models, evaluations, presentations and take over their internal communication.
• You will be in close contact with the development team (concept, simulation, laboratory & test bench) and coordinate with them.

• Ongoing studies, e.g. in the field of chemistry or chemical engineering, energy and process technology, physical engineering or similar
• Strong analytical and conceptual thinking skills
• Quick comprehension and a goal-oriented, pragmatic way of working
• Enjoy presenting ideas and developing them together in a team
• German and English language skills of at least C1 level

• Initial experience in experimental investigations & measurement technology
• Experience with chemical process simulation (Apen Plus, DWSIM, Chemcad or similar)

Remuneration is based on our collective wage and salary agreement. The current monthly salary for this position is EUR 979.00. From February 2025, the monthly salary for this position will be EUR 1,012.00.
