THE ROLE AND THE TEAM
The ZEOS B2B Platform department operates as the central engine enabling partners to integrate and scale seamlessly within the Zalando ecosystem. By consolidating complex business services into a high-performance platform, we offer an API-first environment that drives speed and flexibility. As a Principal Software Engineer, you will act as a primary architect for the ecosystem powering both partner-facing and internal products. You will design foundational microservices that bridge internal operations with the external market, directly influencing the future of Zalando’s logistics infrastructure.
YOUR IMPACT
- Architect Scalable Ecosystems: Define the technical vision for high-traffic customer portals using React, TypeScript, and Node.js.
- Master Modular Landscapes: Lead the optimization of Micro Frontend (MFE) and SPA architectures to ensure seamless integration across the ZEOS landscape.
- Bridge Business & Technical Requirements: Transform complex opportunities into scalable, cost-efficient, and compliant solution designs.
- Support Infrastructure & Security: Oversee deployment strategies in AWS and Kubernetes, ensuring robust web security via Okta and OpenID.
