Summary
For the "Production IR Cameras" Area, we are looking for an "Industrial Mechanic/Mechatronic Technician for IR Camera Systems (f/m/d)" at the Oberkochen site as soon as possible.
The "Optronical Sensors & Lasers" department produces thermal imaging and high-performance cameras as well as laser rangefinders for use in stationary and mobile applications. The sensors are used in the maritime sector as well as in land vehicles and also in flying applications. These systems are used for reconnaissance and protection of borders, objects and persons. The "Production IR Cameras" division handles the IR thermal imaging cameras from the creation of the optical beam path, through cabling & marriage, to full commissioning and final acceptance.
Your Tasks

Independent assembly of sub-assemblies and main assemblies as well as terminal devices according to the production documents

Adjustment of end devices as well as execution of readjustments

Testing of individual components and assemblies

Cleaning of optical surfaces and devices as well as bonding of optics

Carrying out final inspection and quality assurance

Capacity and order planning in close coordination/collaboration with colleagues and the team leader
Your Profile

Completed vocational training as an industrial mechanic, mechatronics technician or similar
-
First professional experience in the assembly of precision mechanical, electronic and optical components is advantageous

Good basic PC skills (SAP and Excel)

Soldering, crimping and gluing skills

Independent working style and ability to work in a team

Quality and cost-conscious action

High willingness to learn as well as resilience and flexibility

Very good German and English skills
