We are now looking for a motivated developer to join our growing team and help shape the future of digital car rental.
What You Bring
- A strong academic background in Computer Science, Business Informatics, or a related field
- Initial hands-on experience in software development with a solid grasp of object-oriented programming
- Proficiency in at least one language such as PHP, Python, Golang, or TypeScript, along with experience in frameworks like Symfony and relational databases (SQL); Linux/DevOps knowledge is a plus
- Hands-on experience with modern frontend technologies like React or React Router, paired with a keen eye for UI/UX and responsive design
- Enthusiasm for AI and practical experience with AI development tools such as Claude Code or Cursor, with a drive to push their integration further
- A passion for clean code, web development, and a strong willingness to learn
- Proactive teamwork, strong communication skills, and a collaborative mindset
- Fluent German (C1) and good English (B2)
Your Responsibilities
- Collaborate with backend, frontend, product teams, and external partners on exciting topics across our multilingual car rental domain – from comparison results and booking flows to customer self-service portals and internal tools
- Take ownership of technical implementations, continuously evolving our applications for desktop, tablet, and mobile
- Design and build REST API integrations that ensure seamless communication between backend systems, frontends, and partner platforms
- Evolve our modern tech stack, ensuring stability, scalability, and long-term maintainability
- Contribute innovative ideas and implement new features in close collaboration with product management – benefiting from short decision paths and rapid release cycles
