YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES WITH US:
- You become a team member of a new division created beginning 2021 tackling end2end embedded software engineering for Automotive electronic control units.
- You contribute to ramp-up an internal delivery framework to enable Capgemini Engineering to deliver end-2-end software solutions, in that regard you are supporting recruitment activities as an Domain Expert.
- You support the foundation and operation of the Local Expertise Center for Automotive Software Engineering and contribute to technical, administrative and organizational topics.
- You are responsible for the application of typical Linux services and programs for use in embedded systems, writing high-quality modules and applications for AGL that get the most performance out of a given setup and the elicitation of Software Requirements with external and internal customers.
YOU CONVINCE US WITH:
- Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a similar subject / area with minimum 6 years prof. experience in the automotive engineering industry.
- Experience in embedded SW development in AUTOMOTIVE domain for different Applications such as Head units, Digital Cockpit, Infotainment, E-Powertrain, ADAS etc.
- Skills:
- Well-founded practical experience in porting Yocto Linux, automotive grade Linux to target hardware (e.g. adaptation of Linux kernel, device tree and drivers).
- Deep understanding of the Adaptive AUTOSAR standard.
- Good understanding of Object Oriented Concepts and Proficient in C/C++.
- Experience in integrating Linux-based devices into the architecture of embedded systems (e.g. hypervisor).
- Experience in development lifecycle with relevant process standards such as Automotive SPICE, ISO 26262, Safety/Security.
- Experienced in POSIX compatible Operating Systems(Linux, QNX etc).
- Profound understanding of embedded CPUs (e.g Arm Cortex-A, SOCs etc) and embedded Software architecture.
- Knowledge about open source community and tools in the Linux domain.
- Knowledge about security concepts of Linux, Linux driver development skills.
- Enjoys working independently, focused and proactive in a highly team and client-oriented environment.
- Enthusiastic, flexible and keen approach to learning, etc.
- Structured individual with good problem-solving skills.
- Comfortable in customer facing role, confident and thoughtful.
- Must be able to work alone with minimum guidance, but also be able to operate effectively as part of a team.
- Ability to see the bigger picture but have a passion for details where it matters (out of the box thinking).
- Excellent communication skills: mandatory C1 or equivalent English- and first German language skills. French is a big PLUS.
