As part of the Finance department, you will play a crucial role in establishing and maintaining capital market reporting and providing insightful analysis of the business and financial performance of the Douglas Group. You will also be responsible for forecasting, budget planning, and driving continuous improvement in financial processes.

• Establish and maintain capital market reporting, ensuring the integration of financial data to present a comprehensive financial story of the Douglas Group.
• Collaborate closely with the Planning team for accurate and timely reporting.
• Conduct regular evaluations and commentaries on the business and financial performance of the Douglas Group on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
• Provide insightful analysis to identify areas of improvement and potential risks.
• Manage and analyze regular forecasts and annual budget planning, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and financial targets.
• Prepare reports and presentations on financial and non-financial capital market and steering key performance indicators (KPIs) to provide meaningful insights to stakeholders.
• Provide financial expertise and support in decision-making related to financial management reporting.
• Continuously develop and enhance existing control and steering instruments, ensuring effective governance over financial KPIs and adherence to financial policies and regulations.
• Participate in operational and group-wide finance projects, leveraging your expertise to contribute to the success of key initiatives.

• Successfully completed business studies with a focus on controlling, finance, or a related field.
• Several years of professional experience in a controlling environment or in an accounting firm, preferably within the retail or FMCG industry.
• Strong financial modeling skills and proficiency in Excel. Ability to create complex financial models and perform advanced data analysis.
• Confident use of BI tools and multidimensional reporting tools. Ability to utilize these tools to extract and present meaningful insights, and prepare decision templates such as dashboards.
• Proactive mindset with the ability to independently organize and adapt to change in a dynamic environment. Willingness to take initiative and drive improvements in financial processes and controls.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to convey complex financial information in a clear and convincing manner.
• Strong interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Excellent written and spoken German and English skills, enabling effective communication with stakeholders at all levels.
