Your Mission and the Team

The Logistics Development team is the driving force behind speed and efficiency within our expansive fulfillment network. We are currently undergoing a strategic shift from manual tasks to intelligent, end-to-end AI orchestration. Operating in a high-velocity, autonomous Agile environment, we scale automation through AI-native architectures across our entire European footprint.

As a Principal Enterprise Automation Engineer, you will be the technical visionary and primary builder for our logistics automation. You will manage a dual-track strategy: the Volume Engine for rapid ROI and the Impact Engine for redesigning complex processes into AI-native workflows. You are an architect who isn't afraid to get hands-on with the most challenging components.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and execute scalable automation architectures while actively coding production-ready solutions for logistics bottlenecks.
• Drive the technology strategy by selecting the optimal stack, ranging from UiPath and n8n to Python and raw APIs.
• Integrate Agentic AI using advanced prompt engineering and LLM frameworks to process unstructured data.
• Act as a mentor by breaking down architectural blueprints into modular tasks for senior engineers and conducting technical reviews.
• Bridge data gaps by designing secure API architectures that connect legacy SAP systems with modern AI tools.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to navigate compliance and push solutions to production in rapid sprint cycles.

Your Profile

• At least 10 years of experience in business process automation and AI integration, balancing high-level design with active coding.
• Expert knowledge in architectural design using UiPath, n8n, Python, and enterprise APIs.
• Demonstrated expertise in Agentic AI architectures and the safe integration of LLMs into live business operations.
• Strong ability to redesign broken workflows into efficient, AI-native processes.
• Exceptional communication skills to align complex technical strategies with non-technical stakeholders.
• Proven leadership in mentoring developers and managing work within high-velocity Agile sprints.
