THE ROLE
The role would have a focus on co-develop and support on new superior products from inception to launch, and also being in the scalp care space, a big trend in hair care growing globally.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
We offer you an exciting technology development role for Wella Professional Care & Styling. Your work will include:
- Support on new beauty product development and see them come to life at shelf!
- Support development of scientific communication.
- Qualify new product performance and define robust claims substantiation strategy.
- Organise product tests, deliver claim support with in vitro and in vivo methods.
- Create demos to illustrate product differences, building the reason to believe in the product efficacy.
- Support registration, notifications, freedom to practice and other relevant clearances to allow product launch, and current market products.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree from university in, biology/biotech, chemistry, cosmetic or natural sciences, etc. or relevant and equivalent work experience
- A background in the skin/scalp territory or the regulated cosmetic environment is a plus.
- Team player and “can do” attitude.
- Curiosity and empathy to transfer consumer and stylist insights into new product ideas.
- Desire to penetrate science deeply and support claims with robust science approaches.
- A bias towards Beauty and in touch with trends in the beauty industry.
- Communication and presentation skills for verbal and written communication (in English) of ideas, technical rationales, risks, issues and recommendation.
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
