Title:

Provides leadership to cause the creation of processes required to fully execute the requirements of services and is responsible for the execution of HVAC mechanical services, quality, and cost. Directs the activities of HVAC mechanics. Installs, services, and repairs environmental-control and other commercial establishments, utilizing knowledge of refrigeration theory, pipefitting and structural layout. Mounts compressor and condenser units on platform or floor, uses hand tools, follows blueprints or engineering specifications. Fabricates, assembles and installs ductwork and chassis parts using portable metalworking tools and welding equipment. Connects motors, compressors, temperature controls, humidity controls and circulating ventilation fans to control panels and connects control panels to power source. May install, repair and service air conditioners, ranging from fifteen to twenty tons cooling capacity in warehouses and small factory buildings.

• Experience with AKS ECU systems is a plus
• Experience with refrigeration/reefers/chillers is a plus
• At least 3 years of experience working as an HVAC Technician.
• EPA Universal Refrigerant Technician Certification.
• Extensive HVAC experience required
• Demonstrated skills showing initiative, personal responsibility, and accountability
• Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and maintain composure under pressure in a fast-paced environment while meeting deadlines
• Maintains a “can do” attitude
• A team player who contributes and works with others accomplishing results
• Exceptional customer service skills involving building trust, strong interpersonal relations, and a focus on customer satisfaction
• Attention to detail and punctuality is critical
• Willingness to learn and have a great attitude with positive energy

• Candidate must have a valid driver’s license.
• Operating knowledge computers.
• NAC-I Required
• Must hold a minimum of a secret clearance or the ability to get an interim secret within a very short period.
