Job Summary:
The Lead Data Analytics (M/W/D) is the hands-on but strategic data-driven leader responsible for shaping and executing the data science and analytics vision, strategy, and projects. This role involves managing the team of centralised data analysts / scientist and coordinate company-wide the data curriculum involving all data analyst functions.But you are also an experienced hands-on analyst who can take care of ongoing reporting and specific projects yourself.
Everything with the goal to promote data-driven decision-making and deliver actionable insights to support our organisation's strategic goals.
Strategic Planning and Vision:

Develop and communicate a data analytics and science strategy aligned with organisational goals.

Define long-term goals, objectives, and key performance indicators for the data analytics and science department.

Work closely together with various data-related departments in our organisation, especially Business Intelligence and stimulate the use of new technologies based on data (e.g. predictive forecasting, advanced analytics etc.)

You coordinate the improvements and updates regarding the Data Infrastructure that is maintained by the Data Analytics team and align on a future setup which is centrally setup in BI.

Identify new opportunities within the Data Analytics space and build analytics solutions hands-on
Team Management and Leadership:

Lead the high-performing centralised team of data analysts/ scientists.

Provide guidance, mentorship, and professional development opportunities to team members.

Oversee the execution of data analytics/science projects and initiatives to ensure they meet business objectives and timelines.

Manage resource allocation, budgets, and timelines for multiple concurrent projects.

Develop and coordinate the Data curriculum within Redcare, involving various analytics functions.
Data Analysis, Insights and communication:

You take care of ongoing reporting that is prepared for various departments in the organisation.

Drive advanced analytics and data modelling to extract valuable insights and patterns from large and complex datasets.

Which you translate into actionable recommendations and strategies to support business decisions.

Communicate data-driven insights effectively to non-technical stakeholders to influence decision-making.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams and senior management to align data initiatives with overall business objectives.
Qualifications and Skills:

Bachelor's or advanced degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or related field.

Extensive experience (5-8 years) in data analytics, data science or related roles, with progressive leadership and managerial responsibilities.

Proficiency in data analysis tools and programming languages such as R, Python, SQL, etc.

Strong affinity with artificial intelligence, statistical modelling and data visualisation techniques.

Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.

Proven ability to manage and prioritise multiple projects and initiatives simultaneously.

Knowledge of industry-specific tools and technologies related to data analytics
