FCAS Program is structured in different developments phases, being P1A already satisfactorily closed and next challenging steps planned P1B & P2. The main focus of these two next phases is the design, built, test and first flight of technological demonstrators, as well as the maturation of a considerable number of new technologies that will be incorporated to the demonstrators &/or following phases of the projects. Later phases of the project will be focus in testing all assets, upgrading capabilities of demonstrators &/or building new demonstrators, testing the full System of Systems, together with the preparation of the final system design, prototyping for serial and industrializing the full serial production of all associated assets.

Focused on Pillar 1 Next Generation Fighter, Industrial Architect will deal with following:
Mission:
- To design an optimized industrial system compliant with the requirements, the plan to verify and validate this concept, and the cascade of all the associated requirements, ensuring that Product and Processes are developed together and consistently, and an efficient governance securing Program objectives and Airbus DS industrial system architecture.
- Ensure co-design with involved organizations and an appropriate Design to Value approach during the development phase.
- Coordinate & Manage End to End activities involving Manufacturing Engineering Integrators and Manufacturing technologies Specialists and in close collaboration with Operation's Industrial Managers for Pillar's workshare, the involved sites' Production Coordinators.
- Develop and Deploy the FCAS Manufacturing Techno Maturation plan involving his/her Pillar, in line with FCAS Program & Airbus DS Industrial objectives and strategy, and supported by R&T/R&D Integrator and manufacturing team.
- Manage industrial requirements and secure adequate configuration management in the manufacturing perimeter.
- Support Definition of Manufacturing Engineering Team and Coordinate its development and activities.
Responsibilities and deliverables:
- Specify & manage industrialization requirements, according to involved stakeholders’ requirements, and set up appropriate industrial V&V (incl. with Main Subcontractors)
- Contribute to define and monitor the Industrial development logic & Industrial system, consistent with the overall Program development logic.
- Prepare Industrial deliverables for all Maturity gates from MG2 to MG9, Once Development is concluded and Industrial System is Validated and Verified.
- Contribute to secure within Operations, the industrialization cost targets and proper coordination with all different stakeholders to guarantee Pillar and Program objectives.
- Identification of cost reduction opportunities within FCAS manufacturing perimeter, incl. innovation areas, and contribute to proper materialization of savings.
- Define, simulate and set up the overall Industrial architecture (incl. MCA, Partners workshare, Logistics flows, simulation of scenarios, industrial Tests Concept, etc.).
- Contribute to the Integrated Master Planning, ensuring Industrial and Production milestones are met OQOTOC (including deliveries of product).
- Challenge / approve technical design with respect to industrial performances and cost targets. Propose tradeoffs when necessary. Ensure co-design is deployed.
