About this role

In this role, you will be a key member of the product engineering team, serving as the gatekeeper for product quality within the waferfab. You will also spearhead initiatives focused on continuous improvement and cost reduction.

What you will do

• Make critical decisions on non-conforming materials by carefully evaluating potential risks.
• Define and drive the execution of yield roadmaps during both ramp-up and volume production phases.
• Identify and implement measures to enhance yield, optimize testing procedures, and reduce product costs.
• Develop qualification plans and conduct feasibility analyses (DOEs) for proposed changes.
• Serve as a vital interface between the development and production teams.
• Act as the gatekeeper for new process and product releases.
• Provide support for failure analysis requests originating from customers.
• Ensure the integrity of process and product changes.
• Maintain and update P-FMEAs, control plans (CPs), and flow charts.

What you will need

• Master’s Degree or PhD, preferably in a technical field.
• Ideally, several years of relevant professional experience within the semiconductor industry, including knowledge of semiconductor processes and production.
• Strong analytical and strategic thinking abilities.
• A collaborative team player with a strong drive to achieve success.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Effective planning and organizational skills.
• Fluency in both English and German, both written and spoken.
