To support our team at the earliest possible date we are looking for a Head of Film Manufacturing and Packaging (m/w/d) on a full-time basis.

Your profile

• You have a degree, preferably PhD, in printing technology, materials science, chemistry or related subjects or equivalent qualification acquired through professional experience.
• You have at least five years of professional experience in coating and printing technologies, roll-to-roll processing and production planning.
• Preferably you also have knowledge in organic and/or printable photovoltaics. Additionally, know how in thin-film lamination is a plus.
• You are a teamplayer with leadership experience and a high level of organizational talent.
• You have high levels of initiative and motivation and like to lend a hand yourself.
• You impress with your determined and performance-oriented working style as well as proactive problem-solving skills.
• Your profile is round off by excellent communication and argumentation skills.
• Your fluent proficiency in spoken and written English, and preferably also in German, helps you in your daily communication with your colleagues.

Your main responsibilities

• Development of innovative and advancement of established OPV manufacturing processes with a focus on throughput and yield.
• Independent handling of internal development projects as well as customer projects supported by a team of technicians and operators.
• Autonomous production planning, especially with a focus on deadlines, quality and costs.
• Support in the planning and realization of a new roll-to-roll OPV manufacturing line.
• Close exchange with the division management to ensure the success of the projects.
• Compliance with occupational safety regulations and ensuring of internal quality assurance.
