We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented data analyst working student to join our data & insights team. The successful candidate will be responsible for analyzing large datasets, creating reports, and providing insights to support business decisions. Being part of the D&I team, you will work closely together with data engineers, and other data analysts while collaborating with business stakeholders and specialists. This is a part-time role with flexible hours that can be adjusted to fit around your studies.
- Analyze and interpret large data sets to provide actionable insights for investment decisions and portfolio management
- Assist in the ongoing benchmarking and evaluating portfolio companies' performance using various data sources and analytical tools
- Maintain and update internal databases, ensuring data accuracy and integrity
- Conduct research and data mining to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities better decision making
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support ongoing projects and initiatives
- Present findings and insights to stakeholders in a clear and concise manner
- Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s or master’s program in Data Science, Economics, Finance, or Business-related field
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, Power BI, SQL, Python, R) and programming languages
- Familiarity with financial concepts and private equity industry
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Fluent in English; proficiency in German is a plus
