The potential candidate for this role will be working in a driven and engaged team of Chartering Managers based in Dubai.

The Chartering Manager responsibilities will include building the cargo book, working with existing customers and finding new business opportunities, using industry leading systems and methodology to enhance its performance.

1. Business Development - · Sourcing right dry bulk business opportunity to operate on

2. Market intelligence- Maintain a watch on industry developments within the region, on respective business module.

3. Rating of Freight enquiries for Cargo and offer

4. Rating Tonnage to fix on TCT

5. Interactions/ Negotiation with Brokers / Owners / Charterers

6. Voyage Estimation

7. Negotiation of Main terms and CP leading to Fixture

8. Nomination of Performing Vessels and acceptance.

9. Risk Assessment for Voyage performance

10. Market Analysis and Assessment

11. Relationship Building – Build strategic long term relations with Key Clients and accounts

12. MIS for Management Review

13. Documentation and Storage of all Voyage Related information.

14. Timely Closure of Files

15. Improve Financial performance of the Voyage

16. Well versed in Charter party and legal terms.

Fluent in English (Spoken and Written) essential for the role.
