Airbus Defence & Space in Immenstaad is seeking a skilled AIT- Engineer/Scheduling (d/f/m) to join our expanding Spacecraft Production team in Germany. As part of the AIT team, you'll contribute to the Galileo Second Generation project, focusing on operational AIT planning.
In this role, you'll be instrumental in supporting the Galileo AIT manager. Your expertise in planning processes will be key to managing the operational AIT schedule. You will establish and maintain detailed AIT plans, addressing deviations through regular schedule trade-offs and optimizations.

Gather and consolidate internal and external requirements for operational AIT planning
Define, control, and manage AIT KIDS (Key Interface Data), ensuring regular updates
Create, update, and maintain the detailed AIT schedule, coordinating with stakeholders (Galileo Project Management Office, AIT project management, procurement, engineering)
Monitor daily progress against the AIT plan
Track and plan activities related to non-conformances and open work with Quality Assurance
Conduct regular AIT schedule trade-offs and optimizations
Prepare and support Schedule Control Boards (Early Warning System) with the Galileo Project Management Office and AIT Management
Support maturity gates for the TOMG industrialization process
Analyze schedule deviations, risks, and bottlenecks for TOMG risk management
Evaluate trends and schedule adherence (KPIs)
Report to internal and external clients
Proven experience in creating and maintaining schedules, ideally in aerospace
Proficiency in planning tools
Knowledge of space, AIT, and related fields
Experience working in interdisciplinary teams
Experience in planning and executing institutional space projects (ESA, EU, DLR)
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with experience managing resistance and conflicts
Fluency in English and German
