Become part of a team that brings together expertise from external management consultancies and internal business. You will work on the strategic management of a DAX-listed company and learn the consulting trade in the project setup of an in-house consultancy, from analysis and concept development to top management communication of proposed solutions.

Your tasks:

You will contribute to the development and implementation of strategies for the Covestro Group and the functional and business units, including gathering information, analyzing, formulating hypotheses and deriving and communicating options for action.

You will lead (sub-)projects within larger strategic programs with the aim of developing and implementing strategies.

You will support the analysis of M&A and venturing opportunities and derive clear recommendations for action.

You will be involved in the thematic planning and organization of strategy events with managers, the Management Board and the Supervisory Board.

You will be involved in the strategy and planning process and act as an interface for collaboration with Controlling and other units.

You will support the implementation of strategic projects and monitor their success and realization.
Your profile:

You have a very good university degree (at least a Master's degree or comparable) in engineering, industrial chemistry, industrial engineering, economics (economics, business administration), chemistry or law.

You have at least 5 years of professional experience in strategy, controlling or other relevant functions with a strategic focus such as finance, sustainability or innovation.

At least 2 years of your professional experience come from management consulting, where you have acquired in-depth methodological knowledge in strategy work.

You are characterized by excellent communication skills, especially when interacting with executives at senior management level.

You have strong analytical and strategic thinking skills.
-
Fluency in written and spoken English is essential, knowledge of German is an advantage.
