As Director PMO (m/f/d) for our Project Management Services Team in Karlsruhe.

Your mission

• You will need to build a team to deliver all portfolio of projects for the execution of capital projects for the Vulcan group.
• As Director PMO you will ensure smooth and seamless handover between development team and project execution team and then between project execution team and production team.
• You will review on frequent basis how to improve, optimise and recover individual or integrated project schedules, cost estimates and reporting for Vulcan group.
• You will design and execute appropriate execution strategies for different projects under the integrated projects umbrella.
• You will be responsible for all change management / risk management in Vulcan group.
• You will take care of governance of project execution activities across all Vulcan projects and develop and monitor key Project Execution KPI’s for Vulcan group.

Your profile

• You have already worked in similar positions in the field of plant or power plant construction (ideally in the construction of chemical plants, oil & gas industry, mining or comparable) and have at least 10-15 years of experience in project execution.
• You have a degree in engineering, for example in mechanical engineering, process engineering, chemical engineering, civil engineering, etc.
• You are an experienced leader who develops the strategic foundations and project execution standards for your team and ensures that the team members can deliver their top performance.
• You are a professional in the areas of project management of large scale technical plants, large EPC and EPCM projects, in stakeholder management, procurement and contract design.
