Your responsibilities will include contributing to a DFG-funded project on reward and avoidance learning in patients with anorexia and social anxiety disorder, as well as assisting with other thematically linked local, national, and international collaborative projects of our lab.
Your Responsibilities
- Collaborate on a DFG-funded project on reward and avoidance learning in patients with anorexia and social anxiety disorder. This project aims to uncover transdiagnostic mechanisms underlying social motivation and their neural bases, incorporating techniques such as functional neuroimaging.
- Conduct comprehensive data analysis (fMRI, eye tracking, questionnaires, clinical data)
- Publication of project results
- Assist in coordinating and contributing to other thematically aligned local, national, and international collaborative projects of our lab.
Your Profile
- Completed university degree (Master or equivalent) with a clinical, neuroscience, or data science focus/specialization (e.g., Psychology, Neuroscience, Cognitive Science, Data Science)
- Proficient in both German and English, spoken and written.
- Strong interest in clinical research, ideally with experience with children and adolescents with mental or developmental disorders
- Ideally experienced in conducting and analyzing neuroimaging experiments (e.g., fMRI, fNIRS) and/or programming experimental paradigms and/or analyzing complex statistical designs
- Passionate about independent scientific work and publishing internationally
- Excellent communication skills, team spirit, and social competence, willingness to collaborate in a dynamic and interdisciplinary environment
- Willingness for spatial mobility to support national and international collaborations.
