The Chair of Robotics, Artificial Intelligence and Real-time Systems is looking for multiple Working Student Assistants (Hiwis) in the field of Systems Engineering for future E/E Architectures and autonomous driving. We are looking for students in the field of computer science, robotics or another engineering related area (e.g. electrical or automotive engineering).
Who we are
As the Chair of Robotics, Artificial Intelligence and Real-Time Systems, we work on the latest innovations in the field of software-
defined vehicles. The development of new autonomous vehicles requires a rethinking of the systems and software engineering
to keep up with the growing complexity and the Implementation of the latest technologies such as AI-based functions in
automotive engineering. For this purpose, we build several vehicles and put our own test bench into operation. And this is where
you come into play.
Requirements
- Working towards your Bachelor´s or Master's degree in computer science, robotics, informatics, or another
engineering related area (e.g. electrical or automotive engineering) - Experience with the development of novel vehicle systems (both software and hardware development desirable)
- High affinity for the interaction of software and hardware systems
- Motivated to work in a team and contribute to a project with many partners from the automotive industry
Tasks
- Commissioning of new test vehicles
- Hands on work on our test vehicles to bridge the gap between software and hardware
- Development along the entire vehicle development process (simulation environment, validation and real world driving tests)
- Implementing and using SiL, HiL and whole vehicle testing environments on software and hardware level
