For the Business Group Comfort and Driving Assistance Systems we are looking for a working student (m/f/d) for the R&D department in Bietigheim-Bissingen to start as soon as possible. This position is also suitable as a final thesis

Your new task in detail

• Research on driver interaction with driver assistance systems (ADAS)
• Determine intentional lateral manouvres that do not require an intervention of ADAS
• Distinguish unintentional dangerous manouvres that require an intervention of ADAS
• Further research on active adaption of driver assistance systems based on specific scenarios, e.g. pothole avoidance
• Determine effective means to identify driver behavior
• Definition of specific use cases and scenarios for driver interacation and of mechanisms to differentiate between intended & unintended vehicle movements
• You will work with the ADAS engineering team

You should have the following experience

• Enrolled student (m/f/d) in the field of computer science, engineering, mechatronics or comparable
• Experience in C/C+ and/or Python
• Matlab and Simulink experience
• Knowledge of git
• Fluent in English and German
• Prior knowledge of driver assistance systems would be a plus
