INTERN (M/F/X) TREND RESEARCH & INNOVATION MANAGEMENT

You will be working to support the DHL Trend Research Team based at the DHL Innovation Center in Germany. With four DHL Innovation Centers across the globe, we are the largest customer facing innovation platform within Deutsche Post DHL Group globally. As a team we are practicing thought leadership to make both technology as well as social & business trends that are relevant for the logistics industry accessible. We engage with our customers and collaborate on pilot projects to turn trends into practical solutions for the logistics industry.
Your tasks
- Conduct market research in selected trend areas and supporting the engagement with relevant start-ups and solution providers
- Actively contribute to the teams current thought leadership activities
- Support the development and execution of innovation pilot projects that accelerate DHL’s digital agenda and ultimately strengthen relationships with customers
- Participate in giving both internal and customer facing tours and presentations on Trend research topics, publications and content.
Your profile
- Currently enrolled in a BA or MA in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Innovation Management, Industrial Engineering or similar
- Fluency in English, good German language skills are a plus
- Outstanding communication and presentation skills
- Skills and interest to conduct market research activities
- Curiosity for both technology as well as social and business trends relevant for the logistics industry
- Customer centric mindset and working approach
- First experience in project work and interdisciplinary stakeholder management is a plus
