Your Contribution:
- Customer installation and training, both remote and on-site (pre and post installation) for CGM Medicus LIS users, according to customer requirements.
- Works hard to learn about other aspects of the business including IT, laboratory, and EHR vendor activities.
- Documents, photographs, and shares any information from customer installations to help expedite resolutions.
- Responsible for new instrument integration and documentation.
- Telephone support- provides support during and after business hours as assigned. Some night and weekend call support responsibility.
- Must be able to lift up to 40lbs at a time.
- Experience utilizing Microsoft Office, SQL database applications, SAP and call handling system.
- Computer hardware setup, HL7, TCP/IP networking and sFTP connections experience is a plus.
- Experience working in a clinical/lab environment a significant plus.
- Experience with Laboratory Information Systems, Hospital Information Systems, Electronic Health Records
- Understanding of TCP/IP
- 50% - 75% (Required)
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in medical technology, life sciences, engineering, or IT support services
- Associate degree in medical technology (MLT) life sciences, engineering or support services with at least 5 years of experience
