Join our team in a full-time position in one of the IU offices (Munich, Berlin, …) or remote as Product Owner (PO) for ML Ops (m/f/d) in the AI > Data department.

Your tasks

Together with a team of engineers, you own building and maintaining CD/CI, production and retraining pipelines for major AI/LLM systems.
You act as the single point of contact for all stakeholders of your pipelines—both business and technical.
Informed by industry best practices and detailed knowledge of your stakeholders’ needs you develop a bespoke vision > roadmap for your pipelines.
You develop detailed requirements, set priorities for your team and align them with the relevant stakeholders.
You review your team's work, collect feedback from the relevant stakeholders and derive the next steps.
If required, you perform quick analyses and tests, liaise with other teams and find support to overcome impediments and ensure progress.

Your profile

You have at least a B.Sc.-level degree in either a technical subject or a business subject, such as computer science, business administration or similar. Master's degree is a plus.
You have at least 3 years of experience in ML Ops, AI Ops, DevOps or similar, either hands-on or in a managing / product owning role.
You have solid knowledge and understanding of ML/AI, cloud computing platforms, container technologies such as Docker and orchestration tools such as Airflow. Knowledge of AWS services is a plus.
You have excellent written and oral communication skills in English and are comfortable communicating with colleagues at various levels, specializations and backgrounds.
You are able to quickly navigate a complex organizational setup with various stakeholders and teams, quickly establishing rapport within and across teams.
You are experienced in working with modern project management approaches such as Scrum, and comfortable moderating regular team meetings.
