Internship Position in Protein Expression and Purification (m/f/d)

We are looking for a motivated intern working in the field of targeted protein degradation. The ideal candidate has bench work experience, with a strong background in biochemistry and cell biology. Proficiency in standard methods, including protein extraction, western blotting, and mammalian cell culture, is a must. Experience in any of these methods: flow cytometry, qPCR, ddPCR, confocal microscopy- based assays, or immunofluorescence is a strong plus.

YOUR TASKS AND EDUCATIONAL OBJECTIVES

• Work on future-oriented tasks at Biologics Research in the field of Protein Sciences and AAV biology
• Express recombinant proteins using mammalian expression systems
• Validate candidate proteins in biochemical and cellular assays
• Work in a multidisciplinary team
• Collaborate with teams from other laboratories
• Gain insight into the processes of Protein Sciences and AAV biology

WHO YOU ARE

• You are an enrolled student (m/f/d) in biology; you have either completed your Bachelor and working towards your Master and would like to get insights of R&D work environment
• You have basic laboratory experience in the field of biochemistry and cell biology
• You are familiar with the common Microsoft Office programs
• You have good time and organizational management skills
• You are characterized by your independent working style and enjoy working in a team
• You are fluent in English, both written and spoken; German is a plus
