Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organization:
Corporate Communication helps adidas to create distinctive and appealing images with its stakeholder groups, build a strong, trusted corporate brand ("the company behind the brands") and develop reputational capital. The Internal Communication Team positively enhances the company’s reputation with inspiring content derived from the company’s strategy, consistent messaging, impactful distribution via state-of-the-art channels and relevant employee engagement activations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as a business partner and communication consultant to the business within the assigned area of responsibility
- Establish solid relations with key international business partners
- Ensure cross-functional communication and collaboration with key stakeholders in assigned area of responsibility
- Create understanding and engagement for the adidas Corporate Strategy inside the company for assigned area of responsibility
- Understand the business goals of the company and the respective function/brand/location and translate them into a communication plan that supports them while ensuring alignment with the overall global Corporate Communication strategy
- Develop and execute the communication strategy for key functions/brands/locations internally in line with guidelines and standards set by the Director Internal Communication, the Corporate Communication Content Creation, Planning and Digital Team
- Develop, implement and maintain highly professional content for internal adidas channels in alignment with respective business partners and Corporate Communication Teams (Planning, Creation, Digital)
- Develop, organize and execute concepts, stories and messaging for internal key events/activations/campaigns with Board and Senior Leadership representatives of assigned area
- Significantly enhance and improve communication methods for concepts, stories and messaging for internal key events/activations/campaigns
- Work towards the achievement of department and business targets
- Provide specific expertise for assigned functional areas towards team and business partners
- Ensure smooth operation of the day-to-day business taking ownership for related actions

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Business understanding of topics, processes and structures in an international company
- Ability to maneuver in a consistently changing environment
- Ability to operate cross-functionally with high degree of customer orientation
- Strong Microsoft toolkit /O365 skills (ppt, Sharepoint, Yammer, Teams etc.)
- Good storyteller and visual communicator
- Very good communication expertise both written and verbal
- Very good organizational and event planning skills
- Hands-on, can-do attitude
- Passion for sport
- Fluent in English (written and spoken)
Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications:
- University degree in business studies, marketing, communications or related field
- 3+ years of experience in Communication, in the PR department or other related fields
