About The Role

Responsibilities:

• Understanding construction drawings and ensuring work is being carried out to the project designs and specifications.
• The ability to conduct detailed surveys and measurements on-site
• Ensure that all setting out activities are in compliance with regulatory requirements, industry standards and project specifications. This includes documentations such as Quality Check sheets, Inspection test plans, H&S file and O&M manuals.
• Collaborate with the construction team to facilitate the smooth execution of project activities, resolving any issues promptly.
• Promote and maintain a strong safety culture on-site, identifying potential hazards and implementing appropriate risk mitigation measures.
• Maintain comprehensive records of all setting out activities, survey data, site diaries and as-built drawings for future reference and auditing purposes.
• Proactively identify and address setting out challenges, proposing innovative solutions to ensure project progress.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Land Surveying, or a related field.
• Proven experience in setting out and surveying.
• Familiarity with industry regulations and construction standards.
• Proficiency in using surveying equipment and relevant software.
• Strong attention to detail and precision in setting out activities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work collaboratively with project teams.
• A proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to adapt to dynamic project requirements.
• A valid driver's license
