To complete our team, we are looking for an

Engineer for ASIC development (f/m/d)

The position

• Prototype designs of analog and mixed-signal ASIC blocks in CMOS technology for innovative X-ray pixel detectors in collaboration with international partners
• Contribute to establishing test strategies and setups for the designed ASIC structures
• Carry out the experimental characterization with the electronics laboratory equipment
• Contribute to the finalisation of the complex ASIC, including components designed by collaborators

Requirements

• Master or PhD Degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering or equivalent professional experience
• Previous experience in integrated analog and mixed-signal circuit design, layout and simulation
• Good understanding of the main concepts regarding signal processing and filtering as well as low-noise analog design
• Knowledge of ASIC design and simulation tools such as "Cadence Virtuoso", Spectre and UltraSim is an asset
• Familiarity of radiation detectors is an asset
• Good communication skills and ability to work in a multi-lingual and multi-disciplinary team with English as working language
