The Technical Project Manager HR plans, schedules, manages and tracks IT projects, teams and allocates resources (e.g. project plans, schedules, deliverables, budget). It is essential to be structured with excellent communications skills and a great communicator (internal and with external partners). A high understanding of technologies and architectures to proper manage these IT projects is required. This technical project manager is responsible in the area of IT in SAP domain.
- Manage IT projects in the HR environment according to PM methodologies (PMI & Prince2)
- Scope, plan and manage projects through the entire life cycle, ensuring delivery to time, cost and quality
- Establish and maintain risk assessment to identify and assess the material risks that arise in their area of responsibility
- Comply with relevant policies, testing and certifying the adequacy and effectiveness of their controls on a regular basis
- To establish and build relationships across the company to facilitate achievement of strategic goals maintaining momentum throughout the project lifecycle.
- Establish a proper relationship and manage external provider as a part of implementation team. Ensure projects meets internal and external partner requirements.
- Support IT in the project environment promoting lean principles through appropriate use of IT tools
- Identify and evaluate project risks and issues and devise and implement effective mitigation strategies
- Contribute to the project management community (e.g., lessons learned, best practices)
- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Computer Science, Business, Engineering, Education, Technical, MBA, Information Systems, Management, Project Management, Business / Administration or comparable experience
- Proficient in use project management tools and techniques (e.g. MS Project)
- Ability to lead a project team of varying sizes and to manage 1-3 direct reports
- Demonstrable leadership and managerial skills, the ability to establish and maintain relationships with leadership team
- Functional knowledge in HR area of SAP and non-SAP applications and understanding of IT Architecture (Microsoft, SAP, etc.)
- Experience with managing project financials the commercial and contractual aspects of projects
- 3+ years experience in building and maintaining relationships with senior stakeholders
- 3+ years experience in providing a successful track record in delivery of projects and/or services involving multi-disciplinary teams
- 2+ years experience in understanding and experience of commercial management
- 3+ years experience in a well-developed approach to problem solving and decision making
- 3+ years experience in Global Integrated Delivery, managing on and off shore teams
- 3+ years experience in Specific accountability for budget or profitability
- Licenses or certifications: PMP, SAP, PMI, PM, ITIL, ACP, CSM, TQM, FAA, EASA, Prince2
- Fluent English skills
- Intercultural competencies with strong experience in international collaboration
- Willingness to travel (maybe required for education, project support, generally not to exceed an average of 25%)
