The role of “Intern, Procurement Applications - Europe” is to assist the Procurement Applications team in the deployment and provision of support of the BirchStreet system for properties in Germany and other European countries. The role will gain knowledge and expertise in project - and change management in specific data collection, template verification, supplier data management, supplier catalogue set up, item and product master list management etc.. The role also includes all procurement system support for properties and any external stakeholders.

This position is ideal for anyone who:

• Minimum Education: Student of BA/ BS/ Bachelor's degree

• Additional Requirements (i.e. % of travel time, etc.): Up to 20 % travel; business fluency in English, additional European language skills preferred.

• Minimum Years of Experience:

o 3 years of MS Office Suite experience

Some of the objectives and main tasks that come with this position are:

• Shadow, engage and support the procurement application roll-out for all Europe properties

• Assist in property data collection verification

• Shadow on-line/on-site training and assist the Procurement Applications team in all duties and processes

• Assist in ensuring that all user/ supplier queries relating to procurement applications originating from properties in Europe are resolved in a timely manner in our SharePoint ticketing system

• Assist property team members after new system implementations by identifying requirements, validating initial data files and correct tax treatment set up and issue tracking

• Help to develop test scripts, conduct testing and training
