Position Overview:
The Product Manager (f/m/d) (Quantex) is responsible for his/her respective product portfolio throughout the product life cycle, from planning to execution and in alignment with the corporate strategy.
Your Responsibilities:
- Independent new and further development of product components, in particular control electronics for driving our pumps
- Coordination of requirements for the electronic components in cooperation with product management, requirements management
- Specification of individual electronic components
- Control of development projects with the help of internal and external resources
- Creation of HMI operating concepts
- Designing new functions by integrating power electronics and sensor data
- Consideration of normative requirements, in particular the Low Voltage Directive and EMC
- Active involvement in the further development of established methods, processes and the introduction of new technologies
- Interface to other departments: Mechanical Design, Product Management, Strategic Purchasing, Quality
Education, Skills & Experience:
- You have successfully completed a degree in mechanical engineering, mechatronics or a comparable field; alternatively, you can fall back on a training degree plus relevant learning-on-the-job.
- As an enthusiastic design engineer (f/m/d), you have about three years of professional experience, ideally with the development of hydraulic components and pumps.
- You also have in-depth knowledge of 3D CAD, ideally with SolidWorks©.
- Knowledge of injection molding design and automated assembly processes is an advantage.
- You see yourself not only as a technician (f/m/d), but would like to communicate intensively with internal stakeholders and external development partners (f/m/d). Ideally, you also have experience in project management.
- You have a very good command of written and spoken English, and you can communicate confidently in German.
Qualifications:
- Successfully completed technical studies.
- Relevant professional experience in product management or technical sales - ideally in a comparable field of activity.
- Knowledge of an ERP system.
- High sales and marketing affinity and a keen sense of market and customer needs; Independent, self-reliant and self-motivated way of working.
- German and English language
