As QMS Manager for D&IS Germany you will ensure that at the Mannheim and Berlin sites the applicable management system is adapted to the business requirements, deployed and used and complies with Alstom's requirements. Furthermore, you will work in cooperation with the responsible local EHS and E&C managers to ensure the coherence of the actions related to the management systems.
Main activities: - Adapt and roll out site specific company policies.
- Ensure compliance, internal and external (ISO 9001, CMMI, and internal requirements).
- Plan, conduct and monitor internal and external audits.
- Support local teams in the introduction and implementation of new / updated processes.
- Planning, execution and monitoring of process reviews.
- Support around QMS documentation and continuous improvement.
- Monitoring and reporting around QMS indicators (process compliance, remediation of non-conformances, implementation improvements).
- Planning and execution of site specific QM reviews.
Organization and Interfaces:
- You are part of the Q organization and work in parallel to the Site Quality Leads at the German D&IS sites. Internally reporting into the Quality and Site organization. Regular contact with customers, suppliers and external certifiers.

Requirements and Skills: - Relevant experience in quality assurance is required.
- Solid knowledge of ISO 9001:2015.
- Knowledge of CMMI (an advantage).
- Completed university studies (mechanical engineering, electrical engineering or similar) or technician training with several years of professional experience.
- Experience with the application of quality tools.
- Expert knowledge of rail transport technology (focus on train protection) is an advantage.
- Knowledge of the relevant specifications / regulations for train protection systems is an advantage
- High level of commitment and ability to work under pressure and independently
- Good team and communication skills
- Very good knowledge of MS Office and similar standard applications
- Native German language skills, both written and spoken, are an advantage
- Good written and spoken English skills are required
