We are looking for a Digital Engineer (m/f/d) to join our BU Catalysts at the globally operating Catalysis Research Center Heufeld as soon as possible.

Responsibilities

• Development and implementation of digital solutions for our research equipment
• Establishment and improvement of industrial communication technology
• Automation and visualization of preparation equipment
• EI&C commissioning of sensor technology & integration of analytical devices
• Basic and detail engineering of EI&C systems and automation systems
• Independent management of investment projects
• Coordination of external companies
• Setting standards for future projects

Requirements

• Successfully completed technical or university degree in electrical engineering, automation technology or comparable qualification with professional experience
• Ideally 3+ years of industrial experience, proven practical experience in EI&C and network technology
• Practical application of Siemens control software TIA Portal & WinCC
• Practical experience in EI&C troubleshooting, hardware, and software troubleshooting
• Experience with the EMSR planning tool Eplan is an advantage
• Experience with Plant Information Management Systems PIMS e.g., Aveva PI desirable
• Good written and spoken German and English skills (B2-Level)
