Are you ready to contribute to the growth and success of Eve Systems, ABB Smart Buildings’ most recent acquisition? As Supply and Operations Manager, you will be responsible for leading and managing the entire supply chain of Eve Systems, including external manufacturing, supply and operations, supported by a team of three. You will report directly to Eve Systems’ CEO, in full collaboration with ABB Smart Buildings procurement and operations network.

Your responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end supply chain & external manufacturing operations, from supply to customer delivery
• Accountable to achieve best products costs, quality, delivery and sustainability; optimize all end-to-end supply chain metrics: costs, inventory, lead time, product availability, quality
• Manage all external contract manufacturing and supply partners incl. sourcing, negotiations, contract management, supplier development
• Select and develop external distribution partners, to enable seamless distribution until end consumer with Apple, Amazon and own ABB distribution models
• Develop and implement supply chain and manufacturing strategy to enable rapid growth of the business
• Build resilient supply chain model, addressing geopolitical risks
• Lead team of 3, ensuring talent development and succession planning

Your background

• End-to-end supply chain experience (5 to 10 years min) incl. procurement & sourcing, planning, logistics, costs management, quality, continuous improvement
• Knowledge in contract manufacturing / electronics preferred
• Strong communication skills to operate in complex stakeholder & organization landscape with high level of seniority & high intercultural sensibility
• High self-confidence & resilience, ability to operate with high autonomy; comfortable with “start-up culture”, able to unlearn and relearn
• Masters or bachelor’s degree (either in Engineering or Business Studies)
• Fluent command of commercial and technical English is required, German language a plus but not mandatory
• Location in Germany strongly preferred (Munich to be reachable by car / train)
