Immediately Responsibility:

• Responsible for ensuring we have product compliance with regulations and local laws in East Europe for all GVR products sold into the region.
• Develop relationship with all East Europe distributers performing national certification work for GVR products. Be their prime contact for product certification and compliance queries. Convert the current “pull” system by distributers to a “push” system with GVR control.
• Detailed understanding of EAEU certification processes (especially Kazakhstan), relevant Technical Rules, and ongoing annual product compliance surveillance processes. Identify and implement routes to EAEU certification without use of Russia based certification bodies. Assistance to distributers in organising any Power of Attorney and factory audits.
• Maintain relationships with all operations manufacturing products sold via the Salzkotten based import/export hub. Be aware of product development and design changes for these products and identify any certification updates required to ensure continued product and factory compliance.
• Provision of documentation packages to support national certification with minimal disruption to the manufacturing operations.
• Maintain central repository of certificates for all products sold to East Europe. Monitor and act upon expiry dates.
• Maintain database of national country specific requirements for products sold to East Europe. Track regulation changes.
• Maintain the approvals roadmap for services and capabilities.
• Support the business development team in developing approvals solutions to customer and internal requirements.
• Build and maintain internal and external stakeholder relationships.

Within 12 months develop into the following roles:

• Access to CEN committees to influence European standards on leak detection and tank gauging. Routes to monitor standards on hydrogen, CNG and petrol stations and dispensers.
• Active within European trade association, CECOD.

Within 24 months develop into the following roles:

• Lead roles within standards creating committees.
• Lead role within CECOD trade association.
• Access to influence OIML certification system and R-series standards.
• Access to relevant ISO committees for future fuels.

Candidate Requirements:

• Excellent experience in national and international regulatory approval of products, ideally downstream oil equipment or similar industry.
• Demonstrable delivery track record.
• Excellent technical understanding across multiple engineering disciplines including electronics, software, hydraulics, and mechanical.
• Ability to interpret, define, develop, and deliver solutions to new complex regulations.
• Good stakeholder management skills.
