Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities
- Conducting picture research for frieze, Frieze Masters, Frieze Week and frieze.com
- Uploading new content to frieze.com with special attention to SEO standards and images metadata
- Assisting with the digital archiving of frieze’s back catalogue
- Attending regular editorial meetings and taking minutes
- Assisting the editorial coordinator with fact-checking and proofing for print issues
- Proofing the On View section of the print magazine
- General office admin support for the Berlin team
- Assisting with events organization in Europe
Skills and Knowledge
- Some experience in arts, culture and news publications
- A strong, demonstrable commitment to the arts around the world
- Acute attention to detail, veracity and quality
- A desire to work regularly with colleagues seated in multiple time-zones
- Familiarity with Photoshop, InDesign and Microsoft systems, including Teams, Outlook, Excel, Word etc.
