You are the perfect addition to our team. By performing planned activities in a timely and professional manner you cooperate successfully with both the project management team and your colleagues from the assembly and service stations on site. You are a good team leader and have the opportunity to qualify as a team lead with us.
Your tasks:
- You will complete the mechanical assembly of crane systems in accordance with the Accident Prevention Regulation (UVV). This includes assembling all of the crane components and connecting the hydraulic parts. During the assembly, you also carry out heavy-duty-lifting in your responsibility, coordinating the necessary lifting equipment
- We will lay the professional final commissioning of the fully assembled cranes trustfully into your hands
- You will provide the project management team with (assembly) reports, documentation, and deviation reports to ensure result-oriented transparency
- Using your industry-specific know-how, you will check tool lists and put together assembly aids and manual equipment. Naturally, your responsibilities include checking on-site whether individual components have been delivered in full and free of transport damage
- You also excel in customer communication. You will manage customer meetings and report on the results of the respective assembly
- During the final acceptance of the cranes you will apply the highest product quality standards and your commitment will ensure that the conditions for satisfied customers are consistently met. You will meticulously log safety-relevant test results, prepare final reports, update the revision plans, and report fault diagnoses to the quality management and project management teams
- We envision you as a future site manager and supervisor for internal and external personnel and will support your professional development towards this goal!
Your background:
- Completed technical training (e.g. as a mechanical fitter or mechanic with master’s degree, mechatronics technician with good experience in joining large and heavy parts together
- Basic knowledge of electrical assembly and ideally first knowledge of PLC systems
- Work experience in site management or in managing people and in executing more complex tasks is an advantage
- Ideally, you are qualified to inspect cranes and hoists or are willing to acquire this qualification with our support
- MS Office skills, experience with product software S5, S7, teleservice, visualization programs, SINAMICS, and PLC analysis
- Fluent in English and good German language skills, additional languages are a plus
- A team player who can work at height and in all weathers, with strong communication skills and the willingness to travel/work on worldwide projects and assignments over periods of several months
