Your responsibilities
As the Team Lead Information Security Management System (f/m/d), you will strive to deliver against our stated purpose which is:
To ensure legal compliance and IT/OT security for our asset portfolio. To translate the Uniper vision and global IT Security strategy into our operational business under consideration of national legal requirements and the individual needs of our asset fleets as well for our growth asset portfolio. To drive and develop the Asset Information Security Management Systems and the Information Security Risk Management as central tools to ensure the risk based approach, a strong learning culture and permanent improvement of Information Security.
We are translating threats and vulnerabilities for our business into manageable risks. We lead and grow the information security community in our asset area and include the knowledge and expertise of our people in a cross functional way.
Uniper’s current asset portfolio and operation is secure and compliant. We are ready in terms of capabilities to actively support Uniper transformation in terms of digitalisation, diversification and decarbonization.
Key Activities:
- Leading a diverse and geographically dispersed team of 10 professional employees to continually improve and deliver OT Security / ISMS across all assets
- Functional lead for the information security community in 40 locations, responsible for coordinating, growing and development of the network
- Responsible in cooperation with the assets for the OT Security budget planning and staffing of OT and ISMS ressources
- Ensuring the development of the central Information Security Managers according to the needs of the business and the legal requirements, taking care for a good balance and overall full coverage of capabilities in terms of process experts (e.g. Risks and asset management), technical expertise (e.g. network monitoring, endpoint security, OT and SCADA security) and latest standards and legal requirements (e.g. ISO27001, CAF, BSI and SzA, IT Sicherheitskatalog §1Abs.a/b, IEC 62443, national law of GER/UK/HU/NL/SWE)
- Developing the strategy and action plans for improving ISMS and OT Security in alignment with the Operations Directors and the CISO
- Taking ownership in a close corporation with governance areas for the OT and ISMS governance for the entire asset area
- Direct report to the Head of Energy Asset Information Security
- Responsibility for the ISMS KPI system and the further development of reporting
- Leading the internal and external audits and being accountable for the certifications (e.g. 27001 UKW, UST and the national standards)
Your profile
- Completed university studies in computer science, business informatics, control engineering or comparable qualification
- Good knowledge of IT infrastructures and components, preferably of SCADA systems / process IT
- Sound experience in power plants or other major asset driven/engineering type of companies
- Sound professional experience in the field of information security and IT security preferably with an energy supplier
- Expert knowledge and in depth understand of the relevant regulatory and legal bases for information security, such as ISO / IEC 27000 series, NIS being able to interpret them into risks and measures
- Expert in stakeholdermanagement of diverse functions (Audit, IT, Operations)
- Experience in leading an international team or project
