Our mission in the Mobile Solutions unit is to delight our Mercedes-Benz users by providing them with great mobile solutions and exciting products for today and for the future!

We are looking for an amazing colleague in our Mobile Solutions unit who will help us in our continuous evolution and in reaching the highest quality criteria for our Mobile product. bringing new brilliant perspectives and technical excellence practices:

• You will be an essential member of our Teams, supporting in the daily Testing activities on Mobile products and in assessing the quality of our releases for making educated release decisions.
• You have a strong experience in Mobile Testing and releasing B2C Apps to international markets.
• You understand the challenges in setting up the testing in a mobile automation system and ensuring the quality of our monthly releases at the same time. You will prioritise your work in alignment with the other key roles (e.g. Product owner, Developers, Stakeholders) and being able to balance your effort on the test execution with the creation and maintainance of the test automation.
• You are able to define an optimal product quality strategy for the Team by bringing a relevant practical experience and a variety of testing practices, techniques and tools.
• You strive for improving the quality of our product at each release and participate in the features creation in all phases from the initial feature ideation until their release.
• You continuousy seek technical excellence and improving our delivery practices on all sides, you bring new perspectives and an analytical approach by measuring what really matters. You promote an inclusive culture based on trust, learning and growth, where it is safe and healthy to talk openly talk about issues and impediments, and it is absolutely fine to search for solutions by experimenting.
• You will groom and prune our test asset at all levels to ensure optimal coverage and effective deduplication.
• You will strive for the fastest and most accurate feedback possible on the quality of our App.

We also love to be clear on what we are not looking for:

• a Test Manager or Coordinator, what we need is a colleague that is fully working in the product development on the testing practical activities, especially the test asset creation and execution on both automation and manual side
• a candidate with no Mobile testing experience on automation and manual testing
• a candidate who has worked exclusively in testing teams or testing projects, with no experience in cross functional agile team

Experience

• Relevant job experience of at least 4 years and a solid skills in native Mobile Apps Testing (Android and iOS) including:
• Setting up Test automation frameworks, test scripts creation and maintenance
• Manual Test automation (not everything can be automated)
• Proficiency in defining test coverage based on technical and user-based test scenario
• Sound experience working with cross-functonal Agile Teams
• Solid testing practices with Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery systems

Nice to have

• You have valuable argumentations and practical evidence to influence the mindset shift form traditional testing practices toward Agile and Lead with Team members and stakeholders
• Mobile Apps in automotive field
• Testing Certifications from ISTQB are nice to have... but we value their experience and deep understanding better!
