Summary Statement

In this role, you will be responsible for making a significant contribution to the commercial success of the current and future product portfolio in the Human Mobility cluster. The focus is on developing new growth areas, aligning products with customer needs, and ongoing maintenance and sharpening of the existing product portfolio.

Duties & Responsibilities

Upstream Marketing:

• Observation and analysis of the market and competitive environment including identification of trends.
• Identifying product requirements and formulating appropriate product specifications.
• Developing development proposals and marketing plans as well as price recommendations.
• Profitability and target cost calculations for products.
• Developing and initiating actions to reduce manufacturing and process costs.

Downstream Marketing:

• Developing competitive strategies, pricing and marketing concepts for products.
• Development of marketing campaigns together with market management and marketing.
• Definition and implementation of the complete marketing mix (4 P's).
• Sales support, customer/market visits, support of training and education.
• Coordination and support of all involved interfaces to internal and external partners.

Profile

• Technical or business studies
• 5 years of professional experience
• Sound knowledge and practical experience in methods
• product management relevant methods
• Experience in a global R&D matrix organization
• Experience in product development processes
• Experience in the medical device and aids industry
• Fluency in English
