What to Expect

Start date: 02-2023 (flexible start, negotiable)

This internship position will support the Operations Manager in the tracking, reporting and executing of the objectives and strategies in the Annual Objectives Plan for the Paint shop. Actively tracking, proposing iterative solutions and improvements to said strategies.

What You’ll Do

Identify and implement improvement projects to optimize operations performance

Contribute to continuous improvement following Lean methodology

Use tools such as 6S, continuous improvement processes and data-driven decision making

Improve safety, quality cost and delivery time

Develop and maintain a strong relationship with all employees driving engagement with the objectives and strategies throughout the Paint organization

Facilitate lean deployment and conduct on-site workshops and kaizens

What You’ll Bring

Data-driven decision ability with sound business judgement

Excellent organization, numerical and analytical skills

Solid project management capabilities

Technology fluency and ability to operate within internal business systems and MS Office with advanced skills in MS Excel, MS Project, and MS Vision

Clear and concise communicator at all the levels of the organization with the ability to absorb a lot of information quickly and simplify it

Knowledge in quality standards, processes and continuous improvement (ISO 9001, Lean Six Sigma,...)

Desired experience working in team-orientated roles that relay on ability to collaborate with others
