Description

Your Tasks:

• Support Train Control design engineering during the entire V-Cycle
• Develop system and subsystem requirement specifications, interface specifications, engineering documentation
• Develop, maintain, update engineering documentation including calcs, estimates, specifications, analyses, reports
• Develop the scope of work definition for TC system engineering, monitor progress against schedule and budget requirements; identify document changes, gap analysis
• Eventually support bid process
• Review and Assess system and subsystem technical design and documentation – including SW – to ensure compliance with specifications and standards
• To verify and guarantee the application of general industry norms and standards and Customer procedure
• To prepare technical reports and KPI update the Customer and Project Management
• To interface with internal and external Customers

Job requirements

Your Profile:

• Degree in Mechatronics, Electronics, Mechanics
• Rail background - minimum 3 years of qualified experience in:
• Train control system design
• Train testing and commissioning
• Rail and transit operation
• Rail standards and safety regulations
• Good knowledge of:
• Automatic Train Control (ATC)
• Automatic Train Protection (ATP)
• Communications-Based Train Control (CBTC)Systems.
• Train 2 wayside interface
• Basic knowledge of other subsystems functionalities, with focus on:
• Train architecture
• Network communications
• Train traction power, brake
• Electrical systems
• Your communication skills are fluent in English and B2 in German
