Introduction to your new role
Join ASML as a Technician and play a vital role in operating the world’s most advanced lithography machines for microchip production. Your responsibilities
Following specialized training at the ASML Academy, you will build and maintain complex systems using precise instructions and technical drawings. Your daily tasks include:
- Assembling, installing, and aligning high-precision mechanical modules.
- Executing system tests to ensure peak performance.
- Identifying and resolving technical issues within a collaborative team.
- Maintaining a safe, organized, and spotless workspace.
- Contributing to process improvements for product assembly and testing.
- Continuous skill development and knowledge sharing with peers.
- Providing clear updates on project progress and technical results.
Your qualifications
We are looking for candidates with a strong technical foundation and a practical mindset. Requirements include:
- A vocational degree (mbo level 3 or 4) or a Bachelor’s in mechanical engineering, mechatronics, automotive, or aerospace.
- Practical experience in a technical production or service setting.
- Proficiency in mechanical assembly, troubleshooting, and adjustment.
- A keen interest in working with both large-scale and delicate mechanical components.
- The ability to interpret technical drawings and follow complex work instructions.
- Fluent English skills for professional communication and documentation.

Work schedule and compensation
This role operates on a two-shift schedule, alternating between early (06:30 - 15:30) and late (15:00 - 00:00) shifts, including one weekend per month. Shift work offers a generous allowance and provides more flexibility during daylight hours.
