As a(n) Product Engineer you will report to the Senior Engineer in Nuremberg. If you are looking for an enriching opportunity in an International environment, we look forward to welcoming you to our Global Team.

What will you do?

• They develop technical product solutions to meet the requirements of our customers.
• You will be technically responsible for the development, prototyping and validation of product design solutions and coordinate all development activities.
• They define product specifications according to customer requirements.
• You will take an active role within the core team and present technical results as a technical project manager.
• They ensure that our products are tested for best practice under the aspects of Design for Assembly (DFA) and Design for Ergonomics (DFE) to ensure compliance with product cost targets.
• They ensure that all necessary compliance and audit requirements are met.

Ideally, you bring this with you:

• Successfully completed studies in the field of engineering or comparable training
• At least 3 years of experience in product development in the automotive industry
• Experience in the creation of bills of materials
• Knowledge of technical calculations and analyses
• Knowledge of APQP terms in the automotive industry
• Very good knowledge of German and English
• CAD knowledge (CATIA V5) is an advantage
• Independent and structured way of working, presentation and problem-solving skills
• Teamwork
