Your Role
tooz technologies, a ZEISS spin-off, is seeking a Chemical Technical Assistant (m/f/d) to enhance our team focused on developing and producing optics for vision-correcting smart glasses.
- Manage, maintain, and enhance our equipment, processes, and lab infrastructure while ensuring efficient lab operations.
- Independently design, execute, and document experiments to refine and validate processes for the serial production of our optics.
- Contribute to the specification and development of advanced filling, bonding, and coating equipment.
- Analyze and characterize substances, recipes, and application methods across diverse processes.
Your Profile
- Certified Chemical Technical Assistant or Lab Technician with 5+ years of hands-on lab experience in a production setting.
- Comprehensive knowledge of handling hazardous materials, including relevant regulations and documentation.
- Experience in wet-chemical coating, vapor deposition, and precision gluing of optical-grade polymers is highly valued.
- Proficiency in both English and German.
- Dedication to cleanliness, precision, and quality.
- A collaborative team player with the adaptability to thrive in a dynamic environment.
